Here is what you need to know

JJ Collision Center, Inc offers the highest quality work at the shop rates set across the board by the auto insurance industry.   We are approved and authorized by all insurance companies because our auto body and paint work carries a written lifetime warranty.

Here are some Frequently Asked Questions and Misconceptions Regarding Insurance Claim Repairs:

Q: What is a DRP shop?

A: DRP is a Direct Repair Program, set by insurance companies with local body shops – also called Preferred Body Shops or Network Shops. JJ Collision Center, Inc is not a DRP shop, but we are APPROVED and AUTHORIZED to do insurance claim repair work by all auto insurance companies.

Q: Do I have to use the body shops recommended by my insurance company?

A: No. You have the right to select the body shop you trust to handle your collision repairs. Don’t let an insurance company “steer” you to their preferred body shops. Chose JJ Collision Center, Inc, where we cater to YOUR needs, not to the insurance company. It’s your car: it’s your choice & it’s the Law.

Q: My insurance company said if I don’t use a Preferred Body Shop, my repairs will take longer and they won’t guarantee the repairs. Is that true?

Q: My insurance company said if I don’t use their Preferred Body Shop my repairs will cost more and I will have to pay for the difference. Do I need to pay anything out-out-of-pocket when I drop my car off for repairs?

A: No. This is another tactic commonly used by insurance companies to “steer” you to their preferred shops. The rates body shops charge are set by the auto insurance industry. Our expert technicians will repair your vehicle in strict accordance with the estimate provided by your insurance company. In most cases, the insurance company will mail the payment check directly to our shop. The check is processed only after all body and paint work is completed.

Q: Will the insurance company pay for a rental car while my car is being repaired?

A: Although it depends on your policy, most insurance companies will pay for a rental car while your vehicle is repaired. Our staff will work directly with your insurance company and rental Car Company to coordinate this for you. We do everything to repair your car in the shortest amount of time possible and get you back on the road.

Q: Is it possible for an Insurance Company to NOT approve your estimate?

A: JJ Collision Center, Inc works with insurance companies every day and we know what they will and will not approve. In some cases, additional repairs are discovered as the vehicle is dismantled. We immediately submit a supplemental request form for the additional work to ensure your vehicle is returned to pre-accident condition. We justify and ensure that everything is approved by your insurance company before we begin the repairs so there won’t be any surprises.

Q: What about my insurance deductible?

A: We will be happy to assist you in every step of the process. We will review the deductible policy with you and will help you with your deductible on a case-by-case basis.
